Screen Printing
Screen printing is an excellent printing choice when vivid colors are desired, even on darker materials.
The process of screen printing involves transferring a stenciled design onto a flat substrate using a mesh
screen, ink, and a squeegee. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh areas
with ink, and a reverse stroke causes the screen to touch the substrate briefly along a line of contact.
This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh openings as the screen rebounds
after the blade has passed. Since only one color can be printed at a time, multiple screens are used to
produce a multicolored image or design. Advanced Converting offers screen printing services on many
different substrates. Please contact us to quote your next screen printing requirement. Screen printing
